Classic song originally performed by Allure. This is a great lil acoustic cover of the song. M.Y.M.P stands for 'Make Your Momma Proud' its a filo duo with a guy on the guitar. Love this girls sweet sounding voice. 9/10
This guy looks like someone chucked neyo's head on LL's body lol. Great slow jam/rap track. Chorus is very catchy, one of the reasons why i like this song is still playing on my list. 8.5/10
Deepside are back with a new slow jam called 'What I Need'. If you're wondering why the beat sounds familiar, well Stargate also produced Neyo's So Sick and Lionel Richie's Call It Love. So if you liked either of those tracks, cop this one. 8/10
RL from the group Next has really made a name for himself after going solo. This track is smooth as a baby's skin. So dim down the lights, light up the candles... and use it on each other =P jks. 8/10
Upcoming artist LeMarvin is definately one to keep a look out for. This is a monster slow jam that'll just get you hot and achin for some of that.... lol anyways. The beat of this kinda reminds me of a Boyz II Men song I posted way back 'Having Sex' aka 'Here I Come'. So seductive is all I can say. 8.5/10
Yes another remix of Promise, but after listening to this; I think its an Official remix. Same beat, but you got the pied piper laying his vocals over the track, definately worth a listen. 7.5/10
Ciara's first single from her Evolution album. This is a crazy remix of the track. Totally different beat, much much slower than the original. This is a grinder! Beat is off the HOOK with this one. 8.5/10
Didn't care much for the original, but this remix has got me hitting the repeat button whether it be at the comp or in the car. Beat is totally different, it samples Spandau Ballet's True; for all you youngin's who don't know that song, Nelly - N Dey Say also samples it. 9/10
Think of Lady Sovereign and chuck a caribbean spin on her and you'll get Lady Cha'Nelle. Beat is banging on this one, sure to work up a sweat with this one. 7.5/10
This track is dedicated for my best friend Kevin Diep who passed away earlier this year. This song will be featured on a dvd im currently working on with another friend. Hopefully we can finish it before what would of been his 21st birthday next month. Kevin, thank you for the memories. We miss you.
Yes im still here, i know its been a long while since i've last posted (over a month) but it was a real rough start to the year for me. At the beginning of the year I lost a dear and close friend, a person who i've known, grown up with since primary school and became one of my best and longest friends. He was one of the reasons I started up this blog in the first place. He was one of the few who voiced his support for this blog and showed his appreciation. The night he passed away he came to me in a dream telling me he was ok with a big smile on his face and that dream has really gave me peace of mind. I'm going to miss him dearly but will always remember him and i'm sure one day we'll meet again. They say thinking of death as the end of life is like thinking the horizon is the end of the ocean.
R.I.P Kevin Diep 07.03.86-02.01.07
On much brighter news, another one of my best friends got married recently. Some of you may remember me posting an announcement of their engagement ages ago, well Narith and Sokha finally got married and i had the honour of being a best man. It was a tiring day with all the ceremonies we had to do, but the reception at night made it all worth it. It was a beautiful night filled with great food, heaps of photos and of course there was the dancing hehe. Once again i would like to extend my congratulations to the newlyweds and wish them a long and happy life together.
Further happy news, I recently celebrated my 3 year anniversary with my girlfriend (27th jan) and i couldn't be happier; time sure does fly. Yesterday for valentines day we spent the night in where we made dinner together and i suprised her with the candlelight setting. All up it was a great night. I also finally got a job working at an I.T company, there's not much time left in the day after i finish work and gym but im glad i got no more assignments and exams! heheh.
Ok, finally to the music, i will continue to post the hottest slow jams here in memory of Kevin and apologise for the lack of recent updates. I have a huge list of new tracks i wanna post up but i'll do that later tonight after gym. Thank you to all those loyal fans who still pop by even with the lack of updates, i promise i'll come back with even hotter tracks! Stay tuned!
Got my results back and it looks like im not going back next year. Cause i passed with flying colours baby!! Wo0T! two distinctions/two credits. Still looking for work, man its depressing. New years eves just around the corner, can't wait to get smashed lol It's been a while since i've posted here but i've been busy ^^. Thanks for the feedback from people and a special thanks to Jehaan for identifying the 3lw beat!
So what does mike have installed for you this holiday? A little bit of everything! SLOW JAMS
American Idol runner up Katherine McPhee will be releasing this song with 'Dangerous' as her debut single. I'm hooked on this song! Love the way the melody/tempo just changes for the chorus. 9/10
Couldn't find a pic of this guy =/ Very hot song nevertheless. Has a lullaby feel to it cause of the chimes used in the background. Chicks will dig this track. 8.5/10
The beat for this track is just hot! For those who don't know who Tim & Bob are; they were behind Bobby Valentino's hits 'Slow Down' and 'Tell Me'. Honestly; all the songs they've produced since those songs sound like a carbon copy of each other, but this one is different - a good kinda different. 8/10
This is a remix of the korean version done by Rain. I'm really liking this east meets west thing where American artists are doing duets with korean singers. Check out Rain's duet with Omarion called 'Man Up' to know what im talking about. I guess anyone who listens to kpop would appreciate this track. 8/10
One word - WOW. This 12 yr old has talent and man.. what a voice! Definately has a voice wellllllllllll beyond her years. Her voice kinda reminds me of a young britney spears. Can't wait to see where she ends up in a few years. This is a very sweet track and hearing a 12 yr old hitting them big notes... didn't think it was possible o_0 8.5/10
It's been a while since Ciara has worked with Lil Jon, and the last time they did we got Goodies. This track is heaps more upbeat than the other tracks featured on her album. Think of it as a crunked up version of Get Up. 8/10
This is Timberland's brother. I guess you can see the resemblance lol. Seems like everything timberland touches turns platinum; this track is no exception. It may not be pop/rnb like previous tracks his done; but Stomped Out is just as hot! 8/10 ROCK
First heard this track in the John Tucker Must Die movie. Yes i watched it and i enjoyed it -_-; It wasn't bad, nice looking chicks and to top it off... a lesbian kissing scene! haha. Anyhoos, this cover of Cyndi Lauper's 1983 hit is probably the best cover of the song ever! Something i've left on repeat for weeks now. 9/10
After hearing Quietdrive's cover of 'Time After Time' I just had to find more from these guys. Their album is just awesome! This acoustic track is something you'll enjoy this summer. Linda! you'll definately like this one ^^. 8.5/10
Trance (here ya go narith haha)
Infextious - Let Me Fly (Jamie Ritmen Remix) My mates are currently in a trance/happy hardcore phase so I decided to post a few tracks here for them. Digging the melody to this track. 8/10
well.. its not officially over.. but my exams are done.. and if i don't fail anything.. i've finished my degree! ^^ Now to start looking for a job, anyone need an e-marketing consultant? lol Having a pretty good break right now.. just a lot of housecleaning business to do before i can be carefree.. iunno though... the whole 'finished uni' feeling hasn't really settled yet, i still feel like i've still got an assignment due and textbook chapters to read -_-

Marques Houston - Circle Rapidshare link Piano ballad, so yeah its a kinda depressing track. good though! lol im still waiting on this guy's album to drop, everything t.u.g has done recently with mh, mila j and omarion has just been gold! hopefully they release their albums soon before all their tracks leak hahah 9/10
Tamia & Eric Benet - Have To Go Through It Rapidshare link For those who have heard their duet 'spend my life with you' you'll know how well these two compliment each other's voices. This track isn't as good as their first duet, but its still a decent song. 8/10

Marques Houston - So Right For Me This was off his Naked album as a bonus track on the UK release, only found out i had it already after going through my list. 7.5/10
Avant - Maker Rapidshare link This was a bonus track off his Director album, it kinda sounds like a mixture of Director and This Is Your Night, if you liked the album, cop this. 7.5/10
Mila J - I'm Mi Rapidshare link Remember her music video 'Complete'? this was the snippet song playing at the end of the clip. I LOVE the beat to this track, although i prefer her singing; she ain't too bad at rapping, she's got good flow. 9/10
3LW - Things U Never Hear A Girl Say I swear i've heard this beat somewhere before, but i can't figure out who! sorting through 16k+ mp3s ain't something i'd like to do. So anyone who can identify where the beat is from will get a bonus track from me! 7.5/10
Brian Mcknight - A Little Too Late Brian Mcknight back to his best with this one, piano backing makes this track a lil depressing but listening to the lyrics, everything works. 9/10
Bliss - Throw It Up Some crunk'n'b right here. So its time to crank this one up and let the bass shake the car! lol Iunno.. girls and crunk go together like hand and glove ^^ 8.5/10
Yung Joc Ft. Marques Houston & Trey Songz - 1st Time Rapidshare link I know a few peoples out there like rappin over a rnb beat. So here's one for you! Great chorus/hook from mh and trey songz. This song is about sexing so dim the lights and turn this slow wind up! 7.5/10
Janet Jackson - Daybreak My missus told me to listen to this track; it was on the album but i guess i musta looked over it. Don't know how cause this track is just great! The beat makes you feel like you're in la la land hahah. This is for all them girly girls out there. Very sweet track! Thanks for tellin me about it babe! 9/10
~ Rap ~
Mashonda Ft. 911 - Can't handle Me Rapidshare link Two words... Just Blazeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Yeps! this track is produced by Just Blaze, so its uptempo and hardhittin, definately a club banger to have in your list. 8/10
Nas Ft. Jay-Z - Black Republican This track is history in the making, after years of beefing, these two finally called a truce last year and now they joined forces and released this sick song. Crazy beat, any fan of hip hop has go to d/l this. 8/10
Snoop Dogg Ft. Jamie Foxx - Psst! Love the feel to this song, beat is just awesome! put snoop's ill flow over it and you got yourself a hit. 9/10
Its exam time for me so nothing crazy for the next two weeks. But i still haven't forgotten you guys. For some songs i've posted two types of links, just choose one, rapidshare is faster but has a limit. If you plan to grab all the tracks, i suggest you get the songs with only rapidshare links first.
Omarion - Ice Box (Rapidshare link) - Open link, click on 'free', scroll down and wait for counter to finish, enter code given, download. If it doesn't show the counter; try again later Omarion - Ice Box (Speedyshare link) Slow Jam - I absolutely love this track, its different from his previous stuff and the beat is just fire!! Kinda like the rnb version of 'Justin Timberlake - My Love'. Chrous for this track is just addictive. Can't wait for his album '21' to be released. Leavin this track on repeat for a while now lol 9.5/10
Bobby Tinsley - Time (Rapidshare link) Bobby Tinsley - Time (Speedyshare link) Slow Jam - Wish there were more tracks from this guy, if you liked his other track i uploaded way back 'I'm Missing You' then you'll want to cop this one too. 8/10
J-Rice - It's Like That (Rapidshare link) Slow Jam - Im sure everyone's heard his 'victoria secret model' track, this one is almost as good. Beat kinda reminds me of 'loving you' and 'lie about us'. 7.5/10
JL Ft. Dujuan - That Wasn't Me (Rapidshare link) Slow Jam - Never heard of this artist but he has pretty decent vocals, typical slow jam track really but if you do like your slow jams; why not grab this one too? lol 7.5/10

Bobby Valentino - Dance Floor (Speedyshare) Rnb - great bounce to this track, haven't liked many of his songs since 'our love' but this one is a keeper. 9/10
2Pac - Pac's Life (Ft. Ashanti & T.I.) (Speedyshare) Rap/Rnb - I say its rap because its 2pac, but i say its also rnb cause of the amazin beat. Really feelin ashanti's chorus in the song. Its very upbeat and something you'll be crankin at them parties. 9/10
Lumidee - Dance (Ft. Fatman Scoop)(Speedyshare) Reggaeton/Rap/Rnb - Definately a clubbing track, this track has lumidee over the 'Pitbull - Culo' beat with whitney houston's 'i wanna dance with somebody' covering the chorus. Funky mix hahah 7.5/10

Mp3s..taking a lil break from slow jams this week.
Rihanna - We Ride Ft. 2Pac (Remix) Rap/RnB - Awesome lil remix of We Ride. Uses 2pac's 'I Ain't Mad At Cha' beat with lyrics from his song 'Can U Get Away' while Rihanna's 'We Ride' chorus gives a nice contemporary touch. 8.5/10
Pitbull - Aye Chico (Prod. By Mr. Collipark) Rap/Reggaeton - When you hear Collipark you think bouncy beats that sends dancing fever through your veins. This song is no exception, if you liked his songs like Tomo, Shake (With Ying Yang Twins), Culo then you do yourself a favour and d/l this track. 8.5/10
Justin Timberlake - Summer Love Pop - Very unusual song - just like any other track on his 'FutureSex/LoveSounds' album, but thats not a bad thing. This song takes a lil getting use to but if you liked his other songs like 'My Love' and 'Sexy Back' then you'll enjoy this track, its not the same as those two tracks but its definately addictive.
I also gotta recommend you to watch this performance on YouTube. It's by a girl name Jenny who does an acoustic rendition of The Veronica's - Heavenly Broken. Great vocals from this girl. Check it out!
Janet Jackson - Days Go By Slow Jam - Very sweet track by Janet, more upbeat than the 'With U' track i posted before. 9/10
Jibbs - Go Too Far (Ft. Melody Thornton of PCD) Slow Jam/Rap - Didn't expect to hear a slow jam on Jibb's album but it ain't a bad one. Soft beat - kinda like a mix between JD and Cornerboyz. If you like your rap songs with rnb hooks. Check this out. 8/10

Fatman Scoop - Get Your Dance On (Ft. Baybie) Rnb/Club Banger - Fatman scoop.. those two words will tell you this song will get you moving. Sexy club track with seductive vocals. Kinda reminds me of Israel - Work Da Middle Pt.2, except without the aussie 'boing boing boing boing' sound effect.. lol. 7.5/10
